Paranormal issues are among those that have always been of interest to mankind, that is, humans have sought to know other beings and the unknown throughout all periods of life. In religious books and religious stories, there are divine angels who each had a role in the creation of man and after that. Many stories and narratives have been given about this many divine angels, among the famous examples of which we can mention Iblis’s disobedience to God’s command and Esrafil’s appearance during human life and death.
In our country, Iran, with the expansion of Shiite culture during the Safavid period and the special attention of the Safavid kings to the art of carpet weaving, the spread of religious carpets and tapestries began in this period. In the past, religious tapestries were woven only in religious cities such as Mashhad, Qom, Isfahan, etc., but nowadays they are also woven in many cities, including Tabriz, Kashan, etc. Due to the change in the use of hand-woven carpets and tapestries, many places were prepared for their use.
Previously, hand-woven tapestries (which were originally only hand-woven carpets) were used to cover the cold ground, but today, religious hand-woven tapestries are used to decorate the walls of homes, workplaces, mosques, etc. By introducing the place of religion in the texture of hand-woven tapestries and its unique Turkish texture, the hand-woven tapestry of Awaz Malaeke displays the art of Iranian hand-woven tapestry.
